Walk On

Walk On is a free walking group run by LivingGrief at St Elizabeth Hospice.

Open to anyone who has been bereaved.  45-60 min walks in Ipswich and surrounding areas every 2 weeks.   

Coffee and cake after walks to chat.

Broadway House

"Open house" for the over 60's - both resident and visitors to Felixstowe. It is not a club, so you don't have to "join" or pay a membership fee.

 

A haven for over 60's to rest, have tea/coffee, meet or make new friends, use Wi-Fi facility or just sit quietly in the company of others.

The local library has a number of social groups to get involved with, including:

 

Open Space - a wellbeing drop-in group, every Thursday, 2-4pm.

 

Top Time - a social group for older people, every Tuesday 2-4pm.

Coffee Break

Felixstowe Cuppa Death Café

Felixstowe Cuppa Death Café is held monthly in Felixstowe. ​

There is on-street parking nearby and the café is also well served by public transport. They serve a great range of tasty coffee, food and cake, including vegan and vegetarian options.

Open to anyone in need of company.

  

There are lots of groups across the county for anyone feeling alone.

There are a range of days, locations and times in the local area.    

Garden Shed

Men's Sheds

Men’s Sheds (or Sheds) are similar to garden sheds – a place to pursue practical interests at leisure, to practice skills and enjoy making and mending.

 

The difference is that garden sheds and their activities are often solitary in nature while Men’s Sheds are the opposite.

Coffee

TULIPS

A monthly peer support group in Felixstowe for those who have lost someone close to them. ​Share how you feel with a cuppa and a biscuit. 

Meetings first Wednesday of the month 7pm-9pm at Felixstowe Opportunity Group.
